As a Unified Systems Operator at Kyndryl, you will play a critical role in monitoring, controlling, and maintaining enterprise systems across a large-scale infrastructure environment. You will help ensure seamless operations by identifying and resolving technical and business challenges, while supporting the reliability and performance of key systems.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on best practices, system utilization, and operational excellence. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will proactively address issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT operations.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain infrastructure systems to ensure stable and efficient operations.
- Validate, analyze, and respond to system events, alerts, and operational issues.




- Execute preventive maintenance and operational tasks to minimize service disruptions.
- Identify, escalate, and help resolve potential outages and abnormal system conditions.
- Provide recommendations on best practices and effective resource utilization.
- Collaborate with technical specialists and cross-functional teams on operational projects.
- Engage directly with customers to understand requirements and support business objectives.
- Apply a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous service improvement.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

- Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) and English, both written and verbal. 5+ years experiances
- Proficiency in IT systems, including networks, hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
- Experienced in handling client communication and negotiations.
- Excellent in Japanese skills both translation and interpretation
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an IT or technical setting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Hands-on experience

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
- Experience or technical knowledge of Batch Operations
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other related fields
- Windows Server certification
