Role & responsibilities

1. Spare Parts Verification: Validate every spare requisition against machine requirements, breakdown history and actual technical necessity.

2. Cost Control & Fraud Prevention: Identify abnormal consumption, duplicate requisitions, unauthorized issues and unnecessary spare replacements.

3. Preventive Maintenance Tracking: Analyse recurring failures, identify root causes and maintain machine-wise spare consumption records.

4. Old Spare & Scrap Management: Ensure retrieval of replaced parts and proper classification of reusable, reconditionable, scrap and hazardous materials.

5. MIS & Reporting: Maintain verification registers, conduct surprise store audits and submit shift-wise cost control and verification reports.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering or Mining Engineering.





- Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering may also be considered with relevant industry experience.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy machinery spare parts management, mining equipment maintenance, inventory control or technical auditing.

Preferred:

- Certification or additional training in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management or Maintenance Management.

- Working knowledge of MS Excel, ERP systems and MIS reporting.

- Practical exposure to HEMM equipment such as excavators, dumpers, tippers, dozers and loaders.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in coal mining and heavy equipment operations.

- Knowledge of scrap handling and recycling procedures.

- Understanding of preventive maintenance and breakdown analysis.
