Job Details & Compensation:

- Position: South Indian Cook / Chef
- Monthly Salary: RM 1,700
- Work Shift: 12-hour shifts (Rotational day or night shifts depending on kitchen operations)
- Rest Days: 1 day off per month
- Contract Length: 3 Years (Fixed-Term Contract)

Candidate Requirements:

- Specialization: Proven experience and expertise in preparing traditional South Indian cuisine.
- Physical Fitness: High stamina to work efficiently and manage heavy kitchen production during a 12-hour shift.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well under pressure alongside an international team of kitchen staff.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid Indian passport with at least 3 years of remaining validity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Authentic Cooking: Prepare high-quality, traditional South Indian dishes, including varieties of Dosa, Idli, Vada, Sambhar, Chutneys, Biryanis, Meals, and regional curries.
- Recipe Standardisation: Ensure consistency in taste, portion sizes, presentation,



and authenticity across all menu items.
- Kitchen Supervision: Guide assistant cooks and kitchen helpers in prepping ingredients efficiently for the day's service.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain clean cooking stations and ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Inventory Control: Monitor kitchen stock levels, check raw material freshness, and minimize ingredient wastage.
