Key Responsibilities

A. Project Planning & Execution

- Lead end-to-end execution of solar power projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve execution-related challenges.
- Coordinate site surveys, engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.

B. Technical & Engineering Coordination

- Oversee solar PV system design, layouts, SLDs, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams for technical approvals.
- Ensure proper installation of solar modules, inverters, mounting structures, AC/DC cabling, transformers, and associated electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, technical specifications, and statutory requirements.
- Review technical drawings, material specifications, and project documentation.

C. Procurement & Vendor Management

- Coordinate with procurement teams for timely availability of materials and equipment.
- Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project partners.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors to ensure cost-effective project execution.
- Monitor material quality, inventory, and delivery schedules.

D. Site Management & Quality Control

- Conduct regular site visits and monitor on-ground project activities.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and approved project specifications.
- Implement quality checks and resolve technical issues during installation.
- Ensure proper testing, commissioning,



and handover of completed projects.

E. Team Leadership & Coordination

- Lead and supervise project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and installation teams.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor individual and team performance.
- Coordinate with internal departments, clients, consultants, and government authorities.
- Provide regular project status reports to senior management.

F. Project Costing & MIS

- Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and execution forecasts.
- Monitor project expenses and control cost overruns.
- Track project profitability, timelines, and resource utilization.
- Prepare project progress reports, MIS, and management dashboards.

3. Educational Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering may be considered with relevant experience.
- Additional certification in Solar Energy, Renewable Energy, or Project Management will be an advantage.

4. Experience & Technical Skills

- 510 years of overall experience in the solar power / renewable energy industry.
- Strong experience in execution and management of solar projects.
- Experience in rooftop and/or ground-mounted solar projects.
- Good understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, modules, BOS, electrical systems, and commissioning.




- Knowledge of project costing, BOQ preparation, procurement, and contractor management.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards, quality control, and applicable statutory approvals.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
