About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Social Media Executive to handle social listening, online research, community engagement, and content writing for multiple clients.

The role primarily involves monitoring platforms such as Reddit, Quora, Tumblr, Trustpilot, Google Business Profile, and other relevant forums and review platforms.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant conversations, brand mentions, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities. They should be able to understand the context of discussions and prepare meaningful, natural, and relevant responses wherever appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Listening & Monitoring

- Monitor relevant online platforms, forums, and communities for brand mentions, discussions, customer feedback, and industry-related conversations.
- Identify relevant posts, comments, questions, and reviews that require attention or engagement.
- Track competitor mentions, customer sentiment, recurring concerns, and emerging discussion topics.




- Identify opportunities for meaningful brand engagement.
- Escalate important feedback, complaints, and reputation-related concerns to the concerned team.

2. Community Research & Engagement

- Research relevant Reddit communities, Quora topics, Tumblr discussions, and other consumer-focused platforms.
- Understand community guidelines, audience interests, and discussion context before engaging.
- Identify conversations where a brand or client can contribute relevant and useful information.
- Participate in relevant discussions through appropriate, informative, and context-specific responses.

3. Content Writing & Response Management

- Write clear, engaging, and natural comments, answers, and responses.
- Prepare responses to customer reviews and feedback where required.
- Ensure all content is relevant, accurate, and aligned with client guidelines.
- Avoid generic, repetitive, misleading, or overly promotional content.

4. Research & AI-Assisted Content

- Use tools such as ChatGPT for research assistance, content brainstorming, and improving written drafts.
- Verify information and review AI-generated content before submission.
- Ensure all responses are factually accurate and sound natural.




- Use independent judgment rather than relying entirely on AI-generated content.

5. Reporting & Coordination

- Maintain records of relevant discussions, brand mentions, engagement activities, and published content.
- Prepare regular activity and performance reports.
- Coordinate with team members and manage multiple client assignments.
- Follow deadlines, internal processes, and client-specific guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong English reading comprehension and written communication skills.
- Valuable command of English grammar, vocabulary, and sentence formation.
- Strong online research and information-gathering abilities.
- Understanding of social media communities and online discussions.
- Basic familiarity with Reddit, Quora, Tumblr, Trustpilot, and Google Business Profile.
- Ability to understand discussion context and identify relevant engagement opportunities.
- Good knowledge of AI tools.
- Good attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Freshers with strong English communication skills are welcome.
- Candidates with experience in ORM, community management, content writing, SEO, or social listening will have an advantage.
