Position: Site Engineer - Civil(For a major Indian multinational infrastructure conglomerate)

Role Summary:
Responsible for execution, monitoring, and supervision of all on-site construction activities to ensure project delivery as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The role ensures effective coordination among contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to achieve construction milestones within budget and timelines.
Key Accountabilities
Construction Execution & Site Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at site.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Monitor contractor productivity and resource deployment.
- Ensure work progress aligns with project schedules.
- Consult with site planning for the construction schedule and align the execution plan accordingly.
- Ensure No sequence deviation between activities
- Ensure work fronts are available with the contractors /NSC Vendors.
Quality Management
- Conduct regular quality inspections of executed work.
- Ensure compliance with approved QA/QC procedures and specifications.
- Verify materials and workmanship before execution.
- Resolve quality issues in coordination with consultants and contractors.
Planning & Progress Monitoring
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress.
- Coordinate with planning and PMO teams for schedule adherence.
- Prepare progress reports and identify delays.
- 4 weeks look ahead and catch readiness for the delayed activity.
Contractor & Vendor Management
- Monitor contractor performance and productivity.
- Verify work measurements and certifications.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely material delivery along with the plan dates.
- Ensure manpower availability for planned activities
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure implementation of EHS policies and safety guidelines.
- Conduct site safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Monitor compliance with statutory and company safety standards.
- Report and address unsafe conditions immediately
- Ensure zero tolerance on unsafe activities
Relevant Industry/Sector Experience
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering (Mandatory)
- 4-6 years of experience in construction execution of residential, commercial, mixed-use, or township projects
- Robust experience in site coordination activities
- Experience with reputed real estate developers or EPC companies
- Exposure to high-rise residential project execution preferred
- Experience in contractor management and project coordination
