We are looking for a skilled and responsible Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee construction, infrastructure development, renovation, and maintenance activities across our school premises.

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer (Civil) to supervise day-to-day construction activities, monitor project progress, ensure quality standards, and coordinate with contractors and vendors.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of civil engineering, construction practices, site measurements, material estimation, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Construction Management

- Supervise daily civil construction, renovation, and infrastructure development activities.
- Ensure construction work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
- Oversee masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, waterproofing, and structural repair activities.

2. Quality Control & Safety

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction quality and workmanship.
- Verify construction materials and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
- Monitor site safety practices and ensure adherence to applicable safety standards.
- Identify construction defects and coordinate necessary corrective actions.

3. Contractor & Vendor Coordination





- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and construction workers.
- Monitor contractor performance and daily work progress.
- Verify completed work and ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Assist in resolving site-related technical and operational issues.

4. Estimation & Billing

- Prepare and verify material estimates, quantity calculations, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Conduct site measurements and maintain measurement records.
- Verify contractor bills based on actual work completed.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.

5. Project Planning & Execution

- Assist in preparing construction schedules and execution plans.
- Monitor project deadlines and report delays to management.
- Coordinate construction activities to minimize disruption to school operations.
- Support cost-effective project execution without compromising quality.

6. Infrastructure Maintenance

- Inspect school buildings and infrastructure to identify civil maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate building repairs, renovation, waterproofing, and other civil maintenance activities.
- Ensure school premises remain structurally sound, protected, and well-maintained.
- Recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.

7. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain daily site progress reports, work logs, and inspection records.




- Prepare material requirement reports and construction progress updates.
- Maintain records of site measurements, contractor work, and completed projects.
- Submit periodic progress reports to school management.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil construction, site supervision, or infrastructure development preferred.
- Experience in residential, commercial, institutional, or educational building projects is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, building materials, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, site measurements, and contractor billing.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and construction documentation preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently supervise construction and maintenance activities.
