Requirements

- Create 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using Siemens NX CAD, Solid Works
- Prepare 2D engineering drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances, and annotations
- Develop part models, assembly models, and detailed manufacturing drawings
- Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and technical specifications
- Perform basic design modifications and update existing CAD models
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) principles wherever required
- Understand manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication and injection moulding
- Maintain CAD models, drawings and engineering documentation
- Coordinate with senior design engineers and other departments to resolve design-related issues
- Follow company design standards, engineering procedures, and project timelines
