We are looking for a highly skilled and creatively driven Senior Video Editor who can bring stories to life through exceptional editing, visual composition, colour grading and sound design.

The Senior Video Editor will be responsible for overseeing and executing the post-production of wedding films, cinematic highlights, teasers, trailers, corporate films and social media content.

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of cinematic storytelling, an excellent creative eye, technical proficiency and the ability to independently manage projects from raw footage to final delivery.

This is a hands-on creative position that also involves supervising, guiding and mentoring junior video editors and ensuring consistency in the quality of all deliverables.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Wedding Film Editing & Cinematic Storytelling

- Edit high-quality cinematic wedding films, highlight films, teasers and trailers.
- Transform raw wedding footage into engaging, emotionally compelling visual narratives.
- Understand storytelling, pacing, sequencing, transitions and music synchronisation.
- Create visually compelling edits that reflect the mood, scale and personality of each wedding.
- Maintain consistency in creative style and production quality.

2. Short-Form Content & Social Media

- Create engaging Instagram Reels, promotional videos and short-form content.
- Adapt footage into platform-specific formats and aspect ratios.
- Develop creative edits that capture attention and communicate stories effectively.
- Work with the creative team to develop fresh content ideas and editing styles.

3. Corporate Films & Event Videos

- Edit corporate films,



promotional videos, event highlights and brand films.
- Understand brand requirements and translate creative briefs into polished video content.
- Maintain professional standards in visual presentation, pacing and audio quality.

4. Colour Grading, Sound Design & Finishing

- Perform professional colour correction and cinematic colour grading.
- Ensure consistency in skin tones, exposure, white balance and visual aesthetics.
- Handle sound design, music selection, audio synchronisation and audio mastering.
- Ensure all final videos meet professional broadcast and digital delivery standards.

5. Team Management & Quality Control

- Supervise and mentor junior video editors.
- Allocate editing tasks and monitor project progress.
- Review and quality-check videos before final delivery.
- Establish and maintain editing standards and workflows.
- Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines.
- Take ownership of post-production quality and delivery.

6. Workflow & Project Management

- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously.
- Organise, manage and maintain video assets and project files.
- Ensure efficient footage management, backups and project documentation.
- Coordinate with cinematographers, photographers and the management team.
- Be proactive in identifying bottlenecks and improving post-production efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro & and Davinci Resolve (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, particularly for colour grading, is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted video editing tools and emerging post-production technologies is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling, visual composition,



editing techniques and sound design.
- Excellent knowledge of colour correction, colour grading and audio finishing.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects end-to-end.
- Strong creative judgement, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience in wedding cinematography, luxury weddings, event films or commercial filmmaking will be a significant advantage.
- Previous experience mentoring or managing a team of editors is preferred.

Compensation 30,000 - 40,000 per month, depending on experience, technical proficiency and portfolio quality.
