About our Client:

Our client, a leading beverage manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced specialist to oversee heavy-duty injection moulding operations for plastic pallet production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and optimize high-tonnage injection moulding machines, including machines exceeding 3,000 tonnes.
- Set and adjust process parameters for HDPE and PP, including recycled materials, to improve quality, cycle times, and material use.
- Diagnose moulding defects such as warping, splay, flashing, and short shots; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Carry out routine inspections and maintenance, and troubleshoot hydraulic, servo-hydraulic, electrical, PLC, HMI, and VFD systems.
- Inspect clamping mechanisms, toggle linkages, and two-platen systems where applicable.
- Coordinate protected installation, removal, alignment, and setup of heavy moulds, including crane use and mould-handling procedures.
- Connect and verify core pulls, hot runners,



and multi-zone mould controls where applicable.
- Monitor auxiliary equipment, including chillers, dryers, and robotic take-out systems.
- Maintain production records, report recurring faults, and work with production, quality, maintenance teams, and suppliers to reduce downtime.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized production area.

Requirements

- Technical diploma, vocational certificate, or associate-level qualification in mechanical, electrical, plastics engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years’ hands-on experience operating, setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining large-tonnage injection moulding machines.
- Demonstrated experience with machines exceeding 3,000 tonnes of clamping force.
- Experience processing HDPE and PP, including recycled polymers.
- Plastic pallet manufacturing or other large-shot-weight moulding experience is an advantage.
- Jonwai Machinery Works or comparable machine experience is an added advantage
