(SENIOR) TECHNICAL SALES EXECUTIVE – WOOD COATINGS

Location: Jodhpur

Employment: Full-time

Work Model: Field-based / On-site, with regular customer visits

At PLANTAG Coatings India, we are looking for technically minded, customer-oriented and entrepreneurial professionals to strengthen our business in wood coatings and premium surface finishing.

Our customers range from export-oriented furniture manufacturers to companies delivering high-value residential, commercial and hospitality interiors.

We are looking for people who understand production environments, enjoy solving technical challenges and can translate coating technology into practical solutions.

We welcome applications from experienced technical professionals and ambitious candidates with relevant industry experience. The position and level of responsibility will be determined based on qualifications, experience and demonstrated capabilities.

Your Responsibilities - Solve Challenges. Build Business. Take Ownership.

- Project Development: Develop and manage B2B coating projects in furniture manufacturing, interior fit-outs and hospitality, from initial specification and technical trials to commercial orders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with furniture exporters, manufacturers, architects, designers, contractors, buying houses and sourcing agencies.
- Technical Solutions: Identify project requirements and recommend suitable coating solutions.
- Application Support: Support sample development, colour and finish matching, application trials and technical implementation.
- Quality & Compliance: Understand and address customer requirements regarding surface quality, durability, compliance and market standards.
- Commercial Account Management: Manage customer accounts, including order coordination and payment follow-ups.
- Customer Relationships: Build long-term customer partnerships through technical expertise and solution-oriented selling.





Your Qualifications – Technical Expertise & Experience

- Educational Background: Degree or diploma in Wood Technology, Coatings Technology, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical industry experience is also welcome.
- Industry Experience: Experience in wood coatings, high-quality furniture manufacturing, surface finishing or related industrial applications.
- Technical Understanding: Knowledge of coating systems, surface preparation, application methods and finishing processes.
- Commercial Experience: Experience in technical sales, business development, customer management or project-based B2B sales.
- Language Skills: Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned sales territory.
