Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the MobiLytix Rewards engineering team, driving ownership, accountability, and delivery excellence.
- Own end-to-end engineering delivery, including feature development, product quality, platform stability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Support teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and execution plans.
- Provide technical leadership across frontend, backend, APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and data workflows.
- Drive architecture reviews, design governance, code quality, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure adoption of secure development, automated testing, documentation, code review, and quality assurance processes.
- Own production stability through proactive monitoring, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with DevOps teams to strengthen CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, release management, and cloud-native operations.
- Oversee data integrations, workflows, APIs, and platform scalability initiatives.
- Act as the primary engineering escalation point for critical customer, delivery, and production issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, architects, program managers, and business leaders.
- Lead technical discussions, solution reviews, delivery governance, and stakeholder communications.
- Mentor and coach team members on technical expertise, ownership, problem-solving, and career development.
- Drive performance management, capability building, succession planning, and team engagement.

Mandatory Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring full-stack engineering teams in product or SaaS environments.
- Strong technical expertise in:
- JavaScript / TypeScript

- REST APIs




- Microservices Architecture

- Strong understanding of scalable frontend and backend application design.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and modern database technologies.
- Experience working with AWS and cloud-native application deployment models.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management practices.
- Practical experience with monitoring, observability, production support, and incident management.
- Strong debugging, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working closely with Product Management, QA, DevOps, Support, and Architecture teams.
- Robust stakeholder management, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive delivery accountability, execution excellence, and team performance.
- Strong people management capabilities including coaching, feedback, performance management, and talent development.

Desirable Skills

- Experience in Loyalty, Rewards, Retail, Digital Commerce, FinTech, or Customer Engagement platforms.
- Experience building or managing SaaS and multi-tenant product platforms.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and streaming technologies such as Kafka.
- Exposure to Apache NiFi or similar workflow orchestration and data integration platforms.
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), observability, and platform reliability practices.
- Exposure to AI/GenAI use cases in product engineering, analytics, automation, or developer productivity.
- Knowledge of cloud security and secure software development practices.
- Experience driving engineering maturity, platform modernization, and process improvements.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers and managing customer-facing technical engagements.
- Experience building high-performing teams and driving engineering excellence at scale.
