We are looking for an experienced taxation qualified to join our Finance team. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day direct and indirect tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely statutory filings, reconciliations, financial reporting and coordination with internal audit and finance stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end tax compliance activities covering Direct Tax (Income Tax) and Indirect Tax (GST).
- Prepare, review and ensure timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITR-6, GSTR-9 and other applicable statutory returns.
- Perform bank and vendor reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Support month-end closing and reporting activities, particularly taxation-related balances and schedules.
- Prepare and submit financial statements and relevant schedules to the Internal Audit team.
- Manage TDS activities, including deduction, reconciliation, compliance, timely payments and filings.
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
- Support tax audits, assessments and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal finance teams and external stakeholders on tax compliance and reconciliation matters.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 46 years of relevant experience in taxation.
- Hands-on experience in both Direct and Indirect Taxation.
- MBA / PGDM from a reputed institution.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Income Tax laws, GST regulations and TDS provisions.
- Good understanding of tax reconciliations, statutory compliance and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, numerical, documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
