Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer – MERN Stack with strong technical expertise and team leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable applications, leading development teams, mentoring developers, and driving projects from conception to deployment.

The candidate will be responsible for managing technical deliverables, ensuring code quality, guiding team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of developers, ensuring effective task allocation and timely project delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using the MERN stack.
- Take ownership of end-to-end development, from requirement analysis and technical planning to deployment and maintenance.
- Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure best development practices across the team.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers,



and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Identify technical challenges, resolve bottlenecks, and drive effective problem-solving.
- Monitor team performance, track development progress, and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.
- Guide junior and mid-level developers through technical challenges and promote knowledge sharing.
- Participate in architectural discussions and make informed technical decisions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 4–6 years of professional experience in full-stack development using the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Proven experience in leading or mentoring a team of developers.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, RESTful APIs, JavaScript (ES6+), and application design principles.




- Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Good understanding of database design, application security, and performance optimization.
- Ability to independently handle technical challenges and make sound engineering decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team coordination skills.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint planning.
- Experience with application monitoring, performance tuning, and security best practices.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and scalable system design.
- Experience in conducting technical interviews and participating in hiring processes.
