Functional skills

- Strong SAP IS-U Billing functional expertise, including deep understanding of Billing Master Data such as billing schema, rate category, rate determination, complex rate creation, billing operands, variants, rate steps, and pricing logic
- Hands-on knowledge of RTP and TOU billing concepts, including time-dependent pricing, consumption patterns, interval/profile-based billing, and integration touchpoints with metering and market processes
- Broader SAP IS-U process knowledge across device management, profile management, meter reading, billing execution, invoicing dependencies, and budget billing plan setup and monitoring
- Sought out for functional guidance; anticipates issues at the product level and makes architectural and design decisions to avoid them • Owner of and expert on large section of the codebase
- Possesses record of creating improvement in stability, performance and scalability across major business critical systems
- Anticipate broad technical change and ensure Essent is always ahead of the curve
- Actively seeks collaboration and learning
- Able to recognize and make tradeoffs with respect to whole landscape Understand deeply the entire architecture for a major part of the business and can articulate clearly the scaling and reliability limits of that area
- Experience beyond core billing, so also MDT and new (technical) features within S/4,



and/or the willingness to learn new feature beyond core billing
- Technical skills knowledge and experience integrations, ABAP, debugging
