Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with robust hands-on expertise in Playwright automation and working experience in Guidewire applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, along with a good understanding of insurance workflows and Guidewire platforms.

The candidate will be responsible for automating end-to-end business workflows, validating application functionality, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript or TypeScript.Perform end-to-end functional and regression testing of Guidewire applications.Automate business workflows across Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.Develop reusable test scripts using Page Object Model (POM) and other automation design patterns.Perform API testing and validate backend integrations.Identify, troubleshoot,



and resolve automation script failures and flaky tests.Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios.Prepare test reports, document defects, and ensure timely resolution.Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvements.Mandatory Technical Skills

6+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.Strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation.Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.Working experience with Guidewire applications, preferably PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.Experience in automating complex insurance business workflows.Strong knowledge of functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.Experience with API testing and integration testing.Good understanding of Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and test execution.Good to Have

Experience in Property and Casualty (P&C;) insurance domain.Knowledge of Guidewire integrations and web services.Experience with SQL and database validation.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with test reporting tools and defect management tools such as Jira.
