Role Description The Senior Network Engineer role at Kyndryl is a full-time position based in Bengaluru in a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the Senior Network Engineer designs, implements, and maintains complex network infrastructures to support mission-critical systems and applications. Daily responsibilities include configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, VCF,NSX Tand other network devices; monitoring performance; and proactively identifying and resolving issues.

The role involves troubleshooting network incidents, optimizing network capacity and resilience, and implementing security controls and policies according to best practices and organizational standards.

Engineer also collaborates with cross-functional teams on projects, participates in architecture reviews, documents network configurations and procedures, and mentors less-experienced engineers to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.

Note : We are looking for NSX EXPERTs with VCF knowledge

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design for complex, large-scale environments.
- Proficiency in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network devices and services.
- Advanced Troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose and resolve network performance, availability, and connectivity issues.
- Solid understanding of Network Security principles, tools, and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and secure network architectures.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, SD-WAN, WLAN, load balancers) and related protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid workplace, collaborate with global teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDP, JNCIP, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
