As a Bogie Brake Application Engineer, you will be responsible for packaging of brake equipment in the customer bogie.
You will create engineering drawings that fulfil technical objectives consistent with established guidelines, customer requirements, and design specifications.
You will be providing the comments on the customer technical specifications as per the guidelines.
You will also modify casting and machined parts using Creo software skills.
You will provide cutting-edge solution for integration of bogie brake equipment in the customer bogies with optimized cost. .
You will be expected to deliver on time while doing it right the first time and every time.
Good English language communication skills are a must.
Installation investigation of KB BX products in customer projects.
Perform design calculation relevant for the installation investigation.
Prepare and release Clause by Clause comments for the customer specification.
Create 3D models and 2D drawings in Creo as per KB guidelines.
Document management and Change Management in Windchill.
Preferred candidate profile
Candidate should be Bachelor / Master in Mechanical engineering.
6 to 10 years of experience, preferably in brake design and development activities.
Proficiency with engineering design programs such as Creo, Autocad, etc.
Problem solving abilities, with exceptional time management.
