Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with 5-12 years of experience in product design and development to lead the design, analysis, validation, and launch of complex mechanical products. The role involves driving end-to-end product development, applying advanced mechanical engineering principles, performing design calculations and tolerance analysis, and ensuring products are robust, manufacturable, reliable, and cost-effective. The candidate will collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and supplier teams while mentoring junior engineers and supporting continuous product improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills





- Strong experience in Mechanical Product Design and end-to-end product development, from concept generation through production and sustaining engineering.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals, Strength of Materials, Machine Design, and advanced engineering calculations.
- Experience in requirements definition, concept development, design reviews, verification, validation, manufacturing launch, and field issue resolution.
- Expertise in Sheet Metal, Machining, Plastic Injection Molding, and/or Die Casting design, with strong DFM/DFA knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of material selection, manufacturing processes, supplier qualification, and cost optimization.
- Hands-on experience with GD&T; (ASME Y14.5), tolerance stack-up analysis, and manufacturing drawing reviews.
- Experience in FEA, FMEA, Reliability Engineering, and Root Cause Analysis for design validation and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Creo, including complex assemblies, mechanisms, and engineering documentation.
- Experience driving New Product Development (NPD), Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE), and ECR/ECO management.
- Ability to lead technical reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and supplier teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills
