Role & responsibilities The Head of Ambulance Services Operations will lead, manage, and optimize 1066 Emergency Medical Services (EMS) ambulance operations across Apollo Hospitals. The role requires strategic planning, operational excellence, and alignment with organizational standards. This leader will be responsible for driving service efficiency, enhancing patient care outcomes, managing resources effectively, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.

The incumbent must have hands-on expertise in EMS ERP applications rollout and implementation, with a strong focus on leveraging data analytics for process improvement, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate with hospitals on operational requirements of Apollo Healthcare Logistics (HCL), ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
- Manage day-to-day operations of 1066 ambulance services, ensuring effective and effective emergency response with strict process compliance.
- Implement ERP-based operational workflows for improved transparency, data accuracy, and reporting.
- Monitor and manage key KPIs of 1066 EMS operations, leveraging advanced data analytics to drive performance and achieve pre-hospitalization metrics.




- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives to sustain high standards of patient care, safety, and service delivery.
- Utilize analytics-driven dashboards to track trends, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-backed solutions for operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and emergency departments.
- Represent Apollo EMS in external forums, government bodies, and industry associations for strategic collaborations.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate/Post Graduate in Healthcare / Hospital Administration / Emergency Medical Services / Management; MBA / MHA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in EMS / Ambulance Operations / Healthcare Logistics, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Expertise in ERP applications rollout and implementation for healthcare operations.
- Proficiency in data analytics, KPI tracking, and dashboard-based decision-making.
