Job Title: Senior Manager IT Infrastructure Delivery

Reporting To: Head IT Infrastructure and Service Management, India

Job Scope:

The Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure Delivery is responsible for the end-to-end delivery, modernization, operational readiness, and lifecycle management of IT infrastructure across DHL Supply Chain India and leading a team of technical IT specialists providing Infrastructure Service delivery to all customers as required.

The role ensures infrastructure supporting warehouses, customer operations and offices is reliable, secure, scalable, compliant and cost-effective, while enabling recent customer implementations, site launches, technology refreshes and business growth.

The role provides senior leadership across infrastructure delivery covering networks, compute, storage, workplace technology, warehouse connectivity, operational devices and related infrastructure services.

1. Infrastructure Delivery & Transformation

- Own end-to-end infrastructure delivery for new sites, customer implementations, expansions, relocations and technology refresh programs.
- Lead infrastructure design, planning, procurement, implementation, testing, operational handover and lifecycle management.
- Govern delivery across LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, Internet connectivity, firewalls, servers, storage, end-user computing and warehouse technology.
- Ensure infrastructure solutions comply with DHL global and regional technology standards.
- Build standardized infrastructure solutions that can be rapidly replicated across warehouse operations.
- Establish strong technical and operational acceptance criteria before solutions transition into production.

The existing DHL role similarly places infrastructure deployments, upgrades, refresh activities, availability and compliance with global/regional standards within the infrastructure team's accountability. 2. Infrastructure Operations & Service Reliability

- Ensure availability, performance and reliability of infrastructure supporting business-critical warehouse operations.
- Establish monitoring, capacity management and infrastructure health-management practices.
- Drive reduction in recurring incidents through root-cause analysis and permanent corrective actions.
- Ensure infrastructure incidents receive appropriate technical escalation and management attention.
- Strengthen disaster recovery, resilience and business continuity readiness.
- Drive measurable improvements in service quality and availability.

The existing India roles emphasize high availability, service-level performance, incident/problem management and minimizing operational downtime 3. Network & Warehouse Technology





Provide governance and delivery oversight for:

- LAN/WAN and SD-WAN
- Wi-Fi and warehouse wireless infrastructure
- Internet and telecom connectivity
- Firewalls and secure connectivity
- Servers, storage and virtualization
- RF scanners and handheld/mobile devices
- Printers and warehouse peripherals
- End-user computing
- Infrastructure monitoring and management platforms
- Customer-specific connectivity requirements

Warehouse IT hardware such as RF scanners, printers and handheld devices is already reflected in internal infrastructure responsibilities. 4. Project & Program Delivery

- Lead multiple concurrent infrastructure projects across India.
- Develop infrastructure delivery plans covering scope, timeline, dependencies, resource requirements, risks and budgets.
- Represent Infrastructure & Service Management within new business implementations and customer projects.
- Identify delivery risks early and establish clear mitigation and escalation paths.
- Coordinate with regional/global IT teams, business stakeholders, operations, procurement and external technology partners.
- Ensure projects transition smoothly from implementation into operational support.

5. Financial & Commercial Management

- Own infrastructure capital and operating expenditure planning for assigned services and projects.
- Develop project cost estimates and infrastructure investment requirements.
- Drive cost optimization without compromising service resilience or security.
- Review commercial proposals, statements of work and supplier quotations.
- Manage infrastructure forecasts and identify financial risks early.
- Challenge unnecessary complexity and identify opportunities for standardization and consolidation.

Financial governance fits the broader India infrastructure leadership model, which includes operating/capital expenditure planning, forecasting, investment prioritization and infrastructure cost optimization. 6. Vendor & Partner Management

- Manage telecom, hardware, infrastructure and managed-service partners.
- Establish clear supplier deliverables, service-level agreements and performance measures.
- Conduct supplier performance and service reviews.
- Drive timely resolution of supplier-related delivery and operational issues.




- Partner with Procurement and Finance on commercial optimization, renewals and technology lifecycle requirements.

Supplier performance, contract/service-level governance and commercial alignment are established responsibilities within the India infrastructure organization. 7. Security, Risk & Compliance

- Ensure infrastructure complies with DHL information security, data protection and technology governance requirements.
- Embed security requirements into infrastructure design and implementation.
- Support IT General Controls, audits, risk assessments and remediation.
- Maintain appropriate infrastructure documentation and evidence.
- Drive remediation of vulnerabilities, unsupported technologies and infrastructure lifecycle risks.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery preparedness.

The internal India infrastructure role specifically includes cybersecurity, access governance, vulnerability management, audit engagement, IT General Controls, risk remediation and business continuity/disaster recovery. 8. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

- Lead and develop infrastructure delivery managers, engineers and technical specialists.
- Establish clear ownership and accountability across projects and operational services.
- Partner closely with Operations, Business Development, Customer IT and senior management.
- Communicate infrastructure risks, investment requirements and delivery status clearly to leadership.
- Build strong collaboration between India, APAC, global IT teams and external partners.
- Develop technical capability and succession within the infrastructure team.

Experience:

- Minimum 8 years experience within IT.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure management.
- Minimum 2-years’ project delivery experience.

Qualification: University bachelor’s degree in engineering or a business discipline and work experience, preferably in the Supply Chain , Forwarding/Logistics sector. Certifications like CCNA , PMP , Prince2 , ITIL , COBIT , CISSP , CISM , ISO 27001 , CIPM etc are preferred.
