We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Manager for our Indirect Tax (IDT) practice in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Indian indirect tax laws, particularly Goods and Services Tax (GST), and a proven track record of advising clients on complex tax matters, managing teams, and driving business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional client relationship management skills and the ability to lead and mentor a team of tax professionals.

The Senior

Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax advisory services, ensuring compliance, and identifying new opportunities for the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a portfolio of diverse clients, providing expert advisory on complex indirect tax matters, including GST, Customs, and other relevant indirect tax regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs, and proactively identifying opportunities to provide value-added tax solutions.
- Oversee and review indirect tax compliance processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness,



and adherence to regulatory requirements for clients.
- Provide strategic advice on indirect tax implications for business restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, supply chain optimization, and new business initiatives.
- Represent clients before tax authorities during assessments, audits, and litigation proceedings, preparing robust responses and arguments.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a cooperative and high-performance work environment.
- Actively participate in business development initiatives, including preparing proposals, attending client pitches, and contributing to thought leadership.
- Stay abreast of changes in indirect tax laws, regulations, and judicial pronouncements, and effectively communicate their impact to clients and internal teams.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other service lines and global teams to provide integrated solutions to clients.
