Role & responsibilities
1. Design across ATL, BTL, digital and owned platforms
Own the creative output for the bank across all touchpoints, for campaigns, always-on content, product promotions and performance marketing.
- ATL: print ads, outdoor and hoardings, and key visuals for mainline campaigns
- BTL and branch: branch collateral, standees, posters, leaflets, danglers, and event and activation material
- Social media: static posts, carousels, stories, reel thumbnails and platform-specific formats for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X
- Digital advertising: performance creatives for Meta, Google Display, YouTube and programmatic campaigns, in all required sizes and specifications
- Owned platforms: mobile banking and internet banking banners, website and landing page visuals, and assets for other digital platforms of the bank
- Email and WhatsApp: HTML email designs, WhatsApp campaign visuals and other owned-channel creatives
- Campaign collateral: launch assets, product promotions, topical day and festive content across channels
- Deliver every brief within agreed SLAs, to correct specifications, formats and resolutions, with zero production errors
- Apply brand guidelines precisely on every asset: colour, typography, logo usage, visual language and tone
- Produce all size adaptations and format variations for key assets without prompting
1. Brand asset library and templates
- Build and maintain a structured, version-controlled brand asset library, organised by asset type, campaign, channel and date
- File all approved assets within 24 hours of approval, so nothing sits only on a local drive
2 | P a g e
- Create and maintain a master template library (social, email,
digital ads, presentations) so the team can make minor updates with less design dependency
- Audit the library every quarter: archive outdated assets and flag those due for a refresh
- Ensure all agencies and vendors work from the correct, current brand assets
1. Brand consistency and quality control
- Act as the primary quality checkpoint for all design output, internal and agency-produced, before it goes for approval or goes live
- Know Jana's brand identity guidelines thoroughly and apply them without constant reference
- Flag brand inconsistencies on any channel (social, website, ads, vendor assets) and drive them to resolution
- Build brand literacy across the team through reference documents and quick-guides for non-designers
1. Campaign creative and concept development
- Contribute visual concepts, references and executional ideas in campaign discussions, going beyond template-based work
- Take campaign assets end-to-end, from concept exploration and feedback rounds to final production-ready files
- Lead visual development of integrated campaigns, including key visuals and their adaptations across channels
- Manage multiple concurrent campaign briefs with clear priorities, flagging timeline risks early
1. Print production and vendor coordination
- Deliver print-ready files that meet specifications: resolution, CMYK colour mode, bleed and secure zones
- Coordinate with printing and production vendors on proofs, colour accuracy and final output
- Work with the collateral owner in the team to understand the brief, end use and production constraints before starting
1. Internal communications design
- Design internal emailers, posters, digital screen content and intranet banners
- Hold internal communications to the same brand standards as external ones
- Meet SLAs on time-sensitive internal requests
1. Design process and brief management
- Maintain a brief tracker logging all requests, timelines, status and completion, shared with Lead Marketing on request
- Acknowledge every brief with a confirmed timeline within 24 hours, or flag it if incomplete or unrealistic
- Push back on incomplete briefs and ask the right questions in writing before production
- Raise capacity issues early rather than missing deadlines
- Stay current with design tools, trends and best practices, and bring new approaches to the team
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong visual sense, typography and layout skills, with the ability to apply brand guidelines precisely
- Speed without compromising quality; able to manage many concurrent briefs
- Ideation ability: brings concepts, not just executions
- Clear communicator who asks questions, pushes back on weak briefs and flags risks early
- Ownership mindset and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with non-designers across business teams; Hindi or a regional language is a plus for vernacular creatives
