Role Description The Senior Corporate Accountant - Hospitality will oversee core accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. This full-time, in office role based in Mumbai will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The role will analyze financial performance, monitor cost controls, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across the hospitality business.

The Senior Corporate

Accountant will collaborate with operations, procurement, and leadership teams, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with audits, internal controls,



and process improvements. The position also involves mentoring junior team members and helping implement best practices in hospitality accounting and financial reporting.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Familiarity with tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes relevant to corporate and hospitality operations
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as MS Excel and other financial reporting tools
- Ability to develop and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable financial data
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage
- Relevant experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably in hospitality, food and beverage, or retail sectors
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site environment and manage multiple priorities with integrity and professionalism
