We are looking for a Senior Concept Artist with strong experience in 2D game development to define and elevate the visual identity of our projects. You will lead the concept art process for stylized or semi-realistic 2D games, guiding everything from early ideation to final production-ready visuals. This role requires both hands-on artistry and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the creation of high-quality 2D concept art for characters, environments, props, UI elements, and marketing assets

- Define and maintain a cohesive visual style across all 2D assets

- Develop style guides, color scripts, mood boards, and visual development materials

- Collaborate closely with game designers, illustrators, animators, and UI/UX teams

- Translate gameplay mechanics and narrative into engaging visual concepts

- Mentor and manage a team of 2D artists and illustrators, providing regular feedback and direction

- Ensure consistency and quality across all visual outputs

- Optimize concepts for efficient 2D production pipelines (sprite sheets, animations, etc.)





- Balance artistic vision with performance and technical constraints

Required Qualifications

- 6–10 years of professional experience in 2D concept art, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

- Strong portfolio focused on 2D game art (stylized, casual, or realistic)

- Expertise in illustration fundamentals: anatomy, perspective, lighting, composition, and color theory

- Advanced proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator,

- Experience creating assets for sprite-based or frame-by-frame animation pipelines

- Solid understanding of visual storytelling for games

- Excellent communication and team leadership skills

- Experience working on shipped 2D game titles

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with mobile and casual games

- Basic understanding of game engines such as Unity (2D workflows)

- Knowledge of UI/UX design for games

Pay: ₹1,300,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
