WE ARE HIRING | Chassis CAD Design Engineers

We are looking for experienced Automotive Chassis CAD Design Engineers with strong expertise in CATIA V5/V6, 3DX and Chassis Systems Design for our client in Chennai Location

Location: Chennai

Experience: 5- 9 Years

Domain: Automotive Chassis Design & Development

Notice Period : Immediate to 20 Days Notice Period

Skill set: CATIA V5/V6, 3DX, Chassis CAD Design, GD&T;

Domain knowledge

- Extensive Knowledge in CATIA V5 / 3DX (GSD, Part Modelling, Drawing, Assembly & Kinematics) .

1. Extensive Knowledge in CATIA V5 / 3DX (GSD, Part Modelling, Drawing, Assembly & Kinematics)
2. Expert in Sheetmetal design, Engineering operations, Manufacturing processes
3. Good Knowledge and hands-on experience in GD&T;
4. Positive Knowledge in Teamcenter Engineering & Vismockup
5. Knowledge in WERS, GPDS & DPA 0/1, Ford Global Change Management (GCM) process would be an advantage
6.



Having flexibility to work across time zones as role involves extensive interaction globally

Preferred candidate profile :

1. Expertise in Chassis Systems Design and Development - Brakes, Suspension, Wheels/Tires
2. Responsible for developing CAD models, Drawings & GD&T; in CATIA / 3DX, for Chassis components in Suspension, Brakes, Steering
3. Functional expertise in design and development of Chassis aggregates and to take technical decisions with D&R; Engineers and suppliers as required
4. Ability to ground-up design of Chassis components through detailed design and delivery into production, by establishing manufacturing, assembly and service feasibility
5. Good understanding of New Product Development process, program milestones and delivery success criteria for Engineering .
