Required Qualifications

- Skilled fluency in Japanese and English (verbal and written).

- 8+ years of professional experience in technical interpretation and/or IT operations

- Experience working in a technical environment such as Technical Support, Infrastructure, Networking, Systems Administration, or Engineering Escalation.

- Ability to perform simultaneous interpretation between Japanese and English, accurately conveying complex technical concepts in real time.

- High attention to detail, with strong listening and contextual reasoning skills.

- Comfortable working in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.

- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

- JLPT N1 certification (required).

Preferred Qualifications

- NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) certification.





- Prior experience providing live interpretation in technical or operational settings.

- Familiarity with ITSM tools and structured incident management.

- Experience supporting global or multinational engineering teams.

- Exposure to enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or OEM technologies.

- Additional language skills are a plus.

Working Conditions

- Fully remote role.

- Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation for high-priority incidents.

- On-call incidents are infrequent but business-critical.

- Some meetings may occur outside standard business hours, including alignment with Japanese business hours.
