for role of Senior Manager - Finance

Position Overview The Senior Manager Finance will be responsible for managing investment evaluation and strategic financial initiatives of the Company. The role will work closely with the senior management team and will be involved in evaluating potential investment opportunities, understanding target companies, leading financial discussions, improving profitability and ensuring solid financial discipline across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment & Target Company Evaluation

- Identify and evaluate companies/businesses in which the Company may consider making an investment, acquisition or strategic association.
- Conduct preliminary financial and commercial evaluation of target companies.
- Analyse business models, revenue streams, profitability, cash flows, debt profile, working capital and future growth potential.
- Prepare financial assessment and investment notes for management review.
- Identify key financial, commercial and operational risks associated with potential investments.

2. Financial & Business Due Diligence

- Understand the overall business profile, operations and financial position of target entities.
- Review financial statements, management accounts, MIS, cash flows, working capital and debt obligations.
- Analyse historical performance and prepare projections and valuation assessments.
- Coordinate with internal and external professionals for financial, tax and commercial due diligence wherever required.
- Highlight key findings, risks and opportunities to senior management.

3. Meetings & Investment Negotiations

- Lead and participate in meetings with promoters, management teams and representatives of target companies.




- Evaluate various investment, acquisition, partnership and commercial proposals.
- Assess financial terms, valuation, investment structure, returns and associated risks.
- Prepare negotiation points and financial analysis for management discussions.
- Coordinate the transaction process from initial evaluation through commercial closure.

4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

- Monitor fund availability, working capital requirements, collections, payments and banking arrangements.
- Ensure optimum utilisation of available funds and minimise unnecessary finance costs.
- Monitor bank limits, interest costs, deposits, investments and other treasury-related matters.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and proactively identify funding requirements.

5. Monthly Closing & Reporting

- Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial closing in coordination with the finance team.
- Review provisions, accruals, reconciliations, receivables, payables, inventory and other balance-sheet items.
- Ensure proper accounting and financial controls are maintained.
- Prepare and review monthly MIS and management reports for senior management.

- Accuracy of financial and valuation analysis of target companies.
- Identification and evaluation of suitable investment opportunities.
- Timely and accurate monthly financial closing.
- Quality and timeliness of MIS and management reporting.
- Effective cash-flow and treasury management.
- Successful execution and monitoring of cost-reduction initiatives.

Office Working days: Monday to Saturday

Timings: 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM
