: LCGC Environmental is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of relevant accounting experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in financial accounting, finalization of accounts, GST compliance, income tax matters and statutory requirements. The candidate must be capable of independently managing accounting functions while ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Finalization of Accounts

- Independently manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and finalize annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Accounts and supporting schedules.
- Maintain general ledgers, perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
- Handle year-end closing procedures, adjustments and provisions.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors and Chartered Accountants during audits and finalization of accounts.

2. GST & Tax Compliance

- Independently handle GST compliance, including preparation, filing and reconciliation of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B.
- Ensure accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and compliance with applicable GST regulations.
- Handle income tax-related matters, including tax computations, TDS deductions, payments and return filings.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns and coordinate with tax consultants on assessments and other compliance matters.
- Ensure timely compliance with statutory filing requirements and deadlines.
- Stay updated on changes in GST, income tax and other applicable tax regulations.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable





- Manage vendor invoices, customer billing, payments and collections.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely follow-up.
- Perform regular bank, vendor and customer account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and expenses.

4. Financial Reporting & Controls

- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for management.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring and expense control.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and internal accounting controls.
- Support project-wise accounting, cost tracking and financial reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in independent finalisation of accounts is essential.
- Robust practical knowledge of GST, income tax, TDS and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime/Tally ERP and advanced Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and financial reporting.
- Experience coordinating with statutory auditors, Chartered Accountants and tax consultants.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

- M.Com, CA Inter, CMA or other relevant accounting and finance qualifications.
- Previous accounting experience in engineering, construction, contracting or project-based organisations.
- Experience managing accounting functions independently and supporting financial decision-making.
