#SAP SuccessFactors Functional Consultant

### Role Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Functional Consultant to join an application support team handling ongoing SAP SuccessFactors operations and enhancements.

The consultant will work primarily across Employee Central, Recruiting, and Onboarding, supporting business users, resolving application issues, handling configuration requests, and contributing to continuous improvements within the SuccessFactors environment.

### What You’ll Be Responsible For

Application Support &

- Issue Resolution

- Provide functional support for SAP SuccessFactors(921), primarily across Employee Central, Recruiting, and Onboarding.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests and application-related issues.
- Analyse the root cause of recurring problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure support requests are handled within defined service timelines.
- Assist business users with functional queries and system-related issues.

Configuration &

- Enhancements

- Perform configuration changes based on approved business requirements.
- Work on workflows, business rules, role-based permissions, forms, notifications and related SuccessFactors configurations.
- Support minor enhancements and functional fixes within existing applications.
- Analyse data-related issues and make appropriate configuration or functional corrections.
- Support changes related to picklists, data models and reporting requirements.

Testing &

- Release Support

- Prepare and execute functional test scenarios for system changes.
- Support UAT, regression testing and release validation.
- Validate fixes and enhancements before they are moved into production.
- Provide post-release support and monitor changes for any functional issues.

Business &

- Stakeholder Interaction





- Understand business requirements and translate them into appropriate SuccessFactors solutions.
- Work closely with HR/business teams to understand and resolve application issues.
- Coordinate with technical, integration, payroll, security and other application teams whenever required.
- Communicate technical or functional issues clearly to business stakeholders.

Documentation &

- Process Improvement

- Maintain functional documentation, test cases, SOPs and support-related knowledge documents.
- Keep support documentation updated based on system changes and project learnings.
- Identify repetitive issues and suggest improvements to reduce recurring support requests.
- Contribute to improving AMS processes and overall application stability.

### Required Skills &
- Experience

- 4+ years of experience working with SAP SuccessFactors in implementation, support or AMS environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in the following:
- Employee Central
- Recruiting
- Onboarding
- Strong understanding of HR processes and SAP SuccessFactors functionality.
- Hands-on experience of Workflows, Business Rules, Notifications etc
- Experience handling incidents, service requests, problems, changes and releases.
- Good knowledge of tools such as ServiceNow or any similar tool.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

### Good to Have
- SAP SuccessFactors certification in relevant modules.
- Exposure to SuccessFactors integrations, APIs or middleware platforms.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI.
- Knowledge of People Analytics, Story Reports or Canvas Reports.
- Understanding of ITIL practices.
- Previous experience working in a structured SAP AMS/support environment.

### Education Bachelor’s Degree Or Equivalent Qualification In

- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Business / HR
