Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM / S/4HANA Consultant with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Materials Management processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, material master data, and integration with SAP modules such as FI, SD, and PP. The candidate will play a key role in delivering end-to-end SAP MM solutions, supporting business operations, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP MM functionalities including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Valuation, and Invoice Verification.
- Manage and optimize the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process from Purchase Requisition to Vendor Payment integration.
- Create and maintain Material Master, Vendor/Business Partner Master Data, and Purchasing Info Records.
- Configure purchasing documents including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Contracts, and Scheduling Agreements.
- Handle Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Stock Transfers, and Physical Inventory processes.
- Configure and support Pricing Procedures, Release Strategies, and Approval Workflows.
- Support Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV) and integration with Finance processes.
- Troubleshoot SAP MM-related issues and provide production support.




- Prepare Functional Specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers for custom developments, reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
- Participate in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, user manuals, and training materials.
- Work closely with business users and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and resolve process issues.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP MM and modules such as FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM.

Required Skills

- 6–8 years of experience in SAP MM consulting and support.
- Robust experience in SAP S/4HANA MM implementations, rollouts, and support projects.

- Experience in preparing functional specifications and coordinating with technical teams.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and UAT support.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori applications related to Procurement and Materials Management.
- Knowledge of SAP WM/EWM and Ariba integration will be an added advantage.
- SAP MM/S4HANA Certification is preferred.
