SAP SAC Planning Consultant

Experience: 8–10 years of overall industry experience, with strong hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud Planning experience and exposure to application development in at least two projects. The candidate should have experience deploying an enterprise planning solution to production.

Key Responsibilities / Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning , including Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting, Reporting, Advanced Analytics, and workflow processes.
- Design and develop SAC Planning models, Data Actions, Multi Actions, input forms/templates, Calendar tasks/processes, allocations, and advanced formulas .
- Robust knowledge of version management , including Actual, Budget, Plan, Forecast, and rolling forecast scenarios.
- Experience with Data Access Control, data locking, SAC roles/authorizations, teams, and security setup ; understanding of SSO requirements is preferred.
- Ability to understand high-level integration architecture, data storage and processing, and translate business requirements into detailed SAC solution designs.




- Experience with live/import connections and integration with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA and/or SAP Datasphere is preferred.
- Sound functional knowledge of Finance and FP&A; , including P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, OPEX, CAPEX, budgeting, forecasting, workforce/headcount planning, and commonly used financial KPIs.
- Experience in driver-based planning, allocations, scenario modelling, value driver trees, currency conversion, and planning workflows/approvals .
- Ability to analyse and optimize SAC Planning performance, including planning model design, input-form loading, data entry, calculations, and submission response times.
- Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, testing/UAT, deployment/transport, production support, and documentation.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with Finance SMEs, business users, architects, and other IT teams.
