About the OpportunityOne of our clients is looking for an experienced Sales Manager – MEP Project Sales to drive business development, manage key accounts and secure new projects across industrial, infrastructure and commercial sectors in Maharashtra.

The ideal candidate should have strong B2B project sales experience in the MEP industry, excellent techno-commercial knowledge and established relationships with contractors, EPC companies, architects, PMCs and consultants.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Pipeline Creation

- Identify, develop and track ongoing and upcoming projects across industrial, infrastructure, data centre and commercial sectors.
- Generate new business opportunities and develop a strong project sales pipeline.
- Identify potential clients and key decision-makers across the assigned territory.

Techno-Commercial Sales

- Drive direct sales of MEP packages and systems.
- Understand customer requirements and technical specifications to propose suitable solutions.
- Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals.

Key Account & Relationship Management

- Build and maintain relationships with Tier-1 and Tier-2 MEP contractors, EPC companies, architects, Project Management Consultants (PMCs) and MEP consultants.
- Manage key accounts and identify opportunities for business expansion.

Tendering, Bidding & Negotiations

- Handle end-to-end tendering, including pre-qualification and techno-commercial submissions.
- Manage pricing, commercial discussions and negotiations.
- Drive opportunities towards successful contract closure.

Market Intelligence & Coordination

- Monitor competitor activities, upcoming projects and regional market developments.
- Coordinate with Estimation, Design and Execution teams to ensure accurate proposals and smooth project handovers.





Required Qualifications & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. MBA in Sales or Marketing will be an added advantage.
- 5–10 years of proven experience in direct B2B project sales within the MEP industry.
- Hands-on experience in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting or Integrated MEP solutions.
- Exposure to industrial projects such as factories, warehouses and industrial parks.
- Experience with infrastructure projects such as data centres, metro/rail, airports and healthcare facilities.
- Robust understanding of Maharashtra's industrial corridors, including Chakan, Ranjangaon, Taloja, Rabale, Navi Mumbai and TTC.

- Project lead generation and pipeline development.

Ideal Candidate ProfileA technically qualified, hands-on MEP sales qualified with a proven track record in securing industrial and infrastructure projects. The candidate should be capable of independently identifying project opportunities, engaging decision-makers, managing tenders and negotiations, and converting business opportunities into successful project wins.

ImportantDirect B2B MEP project sales experience is mandatory. Candidates with experience limited to retail sales, general trading, distribution or general Area Sales Management without hands-on MEP project sales exposure may not be suitable.
