Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Officer with a background in corporate interior fit-outs to ensure workplace safety, compliance, and implementation of safety standards across project sites.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction and interior fit-out safety practices, site inspections, risk assessments, and statutory safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at project sites.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
- Monitor safety practices during civil, electrical, HVAC, false ceiling, carpentry, and other interior fit-out activities.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers and site personnel.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and regular safety awareness sessions.
- Monitor work permits for high-risk activities, including work at height, hot work, and electrical work.




- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, incident registers, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, contractors, and workers to maintain a safe working environment.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements
- ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) certification is mandatory.
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Relevant experience as a Safety Officer in construction, interior fit-outs, or project execution.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and construction site safety practices.
- Experience in handling safety audits, risk assessments, and site inspections.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage site safety operations.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in corporate interior fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of civil, MEP, electrical, HVAC, and finishing activities.
- Experience in managing contractor and workforce safety at project sites.
