About Us
Traya is an Indian direct-to-consumer hair care platform that provides a holistic treatment for individuals experiencing hair loss. Through personalized consultations, we identify the root cause of hair fall using a combination of Ayurveda, Allopathy, and Nutrition. Our unique diagnostic platform, combined with medically trained hair coaches and proprietary tech, ensures customers receive customized solutions delivered right to their doorstep — and the ongoing guidance they need to stay on track.
Founded by Saloni Anand (techie-turned-marketeer) and Altaf Saiyed (Stanford GSB alumnus), Traya’s mission is to de-stigmatize hair loss, address its emotional and psychological impact, and make effective treatment accessible to all.
Our Vision
We aim to create a global awareness movement around hair loss while delivering a scientifically proven, holistic solution that combines the best of three sciences.
The role
You will own every licence a Traya Centre needs to open and stay open, across Maharashtra, Telangana, and Karnataka, and eventually pan-India.
What you'll do
- Clinical registration (Karnataka / Telangana): file and secure KPME registration for every
Bangalore centre, and keep layouts, staffing and documents compliant
- Shops & Establishments: register every new centre under the state S&E; Acts in Maharashtra,
Karnataka, Telangana
- Trade licences: obtain trade licences from the local municipal body (BMC, TMC, NMMC, PMC,
PCMC, BBMP and tier-2 corporations)
- File early: start applications the day an agreement is signed,
using a document checklist that BD collects at LOI stage
- Run the tracker: maintain one licence tracker by centre (status, filing date, expected date,
blocker) and review it weekly with BD and the Chief of Staff
- Renewals and inspections: keep every licence across current centers, and handle inspections and notices
- Manage partners: work with internal legal, the external compliance consultant and local liaison agents, and hold them to timelines
- Stay ahead of rule changes: track regulatory changes in each state and flag what they mean for new and existing centres
