Project Regional Coordinator (UCCM - SSP) - LV Prasad Eye Institute (GPR ICARE) is hiring a Regional Coordinator (Projects) for its School Screening Program.

Location: Hyderabad, travelling regularly across up to 5 project locations

Reports to: Program Manager / SSP Program Lead

About the role:

You will make sure school eye screenings across up to five locations are well planned, ready on the day, and on track to meet targets. You'll be the link between field teams, schools, local stakeholders and the central program team.

Roles and responsibilities:

At its core, this role is about planning, coordinating, monitoring and reviewing field operations through a team of up to 5 Local Coordinators.

· Regional planning: Oversee planing weekly and monthly operations across locations, covering school schedules, team availability, consents and transport, and check each location is ready for field activities.

· School and stakeholder coordination: Build strong relationships with school authorities and local stakeholders, share schedules and changes on time, and resolve or escalate school-level issues. Training of the local coordinators for the same is the primary role of the regional coordinator.

· Leading Local Coordinators: Manage up to 5 Local Coordinators as direct reports, planning, coordinating, monitoring and reviewing their work across locations. Through them, ensure Optometrists, Vision Technicians and Field Assistants have the right staffing,



attendance and field readiness, and share learnings across locations.

· Referral follow-up: Monitor referrals, consultations and teleconsultations, and spectacle delivery, and clear backlogs with the help of field teams, share regular feedback for learning and updating.

· Data and reporting: Keep a consolidated regional tracker, review data for completeness and accuracy, resolve discrepancies with the data team, and send regular updates to the Program Manager.

· Logistics: Coordinate with local coordinators and local optom leads for respective aspects of transport, equipment and field resources, and escalate constraints quickly.

· Problem solving: Spot bottlenecks early, maintain an escalation tracker, and raise critical risks to targets, timelines or quality.

Who we're looking for

· Experience: At least 2 years (3–5 preferred) in public health, school health, healthcare, or rural or community development; multi-location coordination is a plus.

· Education: Bachelor's or Master's in any field; MPH, Social Work, Social Sciences, Rural Development or Healthcare Management preferred.

· Skills: Strong planning, communication, team management and report writing; comfortable with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and email.

· Languages: English and Telugu; Hindi a plus.

· Willingness: To travel often, work in schools and field settings, and keep flexible schedule around school schedules.
