We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in ductile iron pipe manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring product quality, conducting inspections, identifying defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor quality at different stages of DI pipe manufacturing.
- Conduct raw material and in-process quality inspections.
- Check chemical composition of molten iron using a spectrometer.
- Monitor nodularity, graphite structure and metallurgical properties.
- Perform hardness, tensile strength and dimensional testing.
- Ensure quality inspection during casting, annealing and finishing processes.
- Monitor zinc coating and cement mortar lining quality.
- Conduct hydrostatic pressure testing and final product inspection.
- Identify manufacturing defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).




- Prepare quality reports, inspection records and documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance and Quality teams to improve product quality.
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and internal procedures.

Required Technical Skills
- Knowledge of ductile iron pipe manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with spectrometer testing.
- Knowledge of metallurgical testing and microstructure analysis.
- Understanding of hydrostatic testing, hardness testing and tensile testing.
- Knowledge of DI pipe defects and rejection analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, RCA, CAPA and quality documentation.

Preferred Industry Experience Candidates with experience in DI pipe manufacturing, ductile iron foundries, cast iron manufacturing or related foundry industries will be preferred.
