Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control (QC) Inspector (Fresher) to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. You will ensure that all items meet engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and strict company quality standards. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform visual inspections to detect surface defects, flaws, cracks, discoloration, or cosmetic imperfections.

· Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and dial indicators.





· Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) specifications.

· Document inspection results accurately by maintaining logs, reports, and entering data into the QC system.

· Identify non-conforming material, segregate defective parts, and issue rejection reports to prevent them from moving down the production line.

· Collaborate with production teams to report recurring defects and assist in root-cause analysis.

· Maintain and clean calibration tools and instruments to ensure measurement accuracy.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· Education: ITI, Diploma, or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production Engineering, or a related technical field.

· Basic knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

· Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.

· Robust attention to detail with excellent eyesight (corrected or uncorrected) for defect detection.

· Basic computer literacy for logging data into MS Excel or ERP software.

· Strong communication skills to report issues clearly to supervisors.

Preferred (Good to Have)

· Fundamental understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

· Basic awareness of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
