About Hudini

Hudini is a hospitality technology company building digital guest and staff experiences for hotels across web, mobile, kiosk, tablet and IPTV. Our platform integrates with hotel systems including PMS, POS, CRM, payments, locks and other third-party services.

The role

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Automation Lead to own and strengthen test automation across Hudini's products.

The role requires someone who is technically current and comfortable working directly with automation code. You will take ownership of our existing automation, keep it reliable and current as products evolve, expand meaningful coverage and establish strong automation and Quality Engineering practices across teams.

We welcome strong automation professionals—such as QA Automation Leads, Senior SDETs or Senior Automation Engineers—ready to take broader technical ownership. We value hands-on capability and demonstrated results over title or years of experience.

Key responsibilities

- Own and maintain Hudini's existing automation frameworks and test suites.
- Improve automation coverage across web, mobile, tablet, kiosk, IPTV, APIs and integrations.
- Establish automation standards, code-review practices and maintainable framework design.
- Strengthen API and end-to-end integration testing.
- Integrate reliable automated tests into CI/CD and release gates.
- Improve regression speed, test stability, test-data management and environment reliability.
- Work with Product, Architecture and Engineering to identify quality risks early.
- Coach QA engineers and help build stronger automation capability across the team.
- Use appropriate quality metrics to improve release confidence and reduce recurring production issues.

Must-have technical skills

- Strong recent hands-on experience in test automation for software products.
- Ability to write, review and troubleshoot automation code.
- Experience owning or significantly contributing to an automation framework.
- Programming capability in Python and/or TypeScript; Playwright experience preferred.
- Strong API testing experience across REST and/or GraphQL; familiarity with Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated regression and release pipelines.
- Understanding of test environments, test data, flaky-test management and debugging.
- Experience testing SaaS, multi-tenant or integration-heavy applications.
- Working understanding of web, mobile and API security and data privacy.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and basic DevOps concepts.
- Comfortable using modern AI coding and testing tools to improve test development, debugging and productivity.

Practical experience Experience in one or more of the following would be valuable:

- Mobile automation across iOS and Android.
- Testing across tablet, kiosk, smart-TV/IPTV or other connected-device environments.
- Performance, accessibility or visual-regression testing.
- Testing products with payments, messaging, identity or other third-party integrations.
- Exposure to testing AI-enabled applications, including evaluation-based testing, guardrails, LLM outputs and RAG.
- Experience with hospitality technology such as PMS, POS, digital keys or hotel guest platforms.

Hospitality-domain experience is not mandatory. Candidates from SaaS, fintech, travel tech, e-commerce, communications or other integration-heavy product environments can be equally relevant. Pay: ₹464,000.00 - ₹1,810,000.00 per year
