Role: Senior Python Automation Test Engineer / SDET

We are looking for an experienced Python Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Python-based test automation, backend API testing, and UI automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks, executing functional and regression testing, and debugging complex application issues.
The role involves collaborating with stakeholders and supporting manufacturing sites across different Asian time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
- Perform backend API testing, including request/response validation and functional testing.
- Develop and execute UI automation scripts using Robot Framework and other automation tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop reusable and scalable automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Perform backend data validation and database testing.
- Debug automation failures, analyze defects, and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate test case creation and automation script development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Asian manufacturing locations and time zones.
- Support basic Instructional Design (ID) activities related to eLearning course development.
Must-Have Skills
- Solid hands-on experience in Python programming and automation development.
- Experience in backend/API testing and UI automation.
- Knowledge of Robot Framework or similar automation frameworks.
- Experience in functional and regression testing.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
