- Buy copper and aluminium scrap at the best price and quality, and build a reliable supplier network.
- Source and purchase copper and aluminium scrap.
- Identify grades and quality (Millberry, Birch/Cliff, Tense, Tutu, Taint/Tabor, Zorba, UBC, Wheels, Extrusion, etc.) and check material before purchase.
- Negotiate prices using trends and market knowledge.
- Develop and manage suppliers, traders and importers.
- Coordinate with the Accountant and other for shipments and documents.
- Track stock, purchase cost and the plant’s raw material needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in copper and aluminium scrap purchase.
- Positive knowledge of scrap grades, metal content, yield and market pricing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills (Hindi,
Gujarati and English preferred).
