About us

Space Consulting is a Sydney based building services engineering consultancy, established two years ago, delivering mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire design solutions across residential, commercial, education and health projects. As part of our growing global operations, this position is based full time in our Chennai, India office, working closely with our Australian team.

Public Health is the discipline known as hydraulic engineering in Australia, covering water supply, sanitary drainage, stormwater and related services.

Key responsibilities

- Building and maintaining 3D hydraulic and fire services models in Revit for building services projects.
- Coordinating and sharing models and drawings with the Sydney project team through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Producing Public Health design drawings and documentation from those models.
- Working closely with our engineers based in Australia.
- Preparing drawings in AutoCAD where required.
- Keeping drawings accurate, compliant and issued on time.

Skills and qualifications





- Proven ability to model hydraulic and fire services in Revit. This is a core requirement.
- Experience working with Revit on Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is highly regarded.
- A relevant qualification in drafting or engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Design experience is not required, as the focus is on modelling and drafting production.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong attention to detail.

Work setup
