Applications are invited for the post of Project Scientist for the VIT Consultancy project at the Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics (CBCMT), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).

Title of the Project

:

Confocal microscopic image analysis of biological specimens.

Qualification

:

- MSc/M.Tech (Biomedical science/engineering, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology) or a closely related science is required.

- Expertise in Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy/Spectroscopy

- Age limit: 35 years.

Describe if any

- Candidates with prior research experience in cell culture (primary/cell lines) and molecular biology techniques.

- Experience in fluorescence microscopy with image analysis skills

Job Responsibilities

- Work closely with industry partners.

- Design and execute experiments related to confocal microscopy.

- - Perform mammalian cell culture and molecular biology experiments

- - Analyze and interpret experimental data

- - Publish research findings in journals

- - Collaborate with project team members and contribute to project reports





- - Assist in mentoring junior researchers and students

Stipend

:

Rs. 60,000 (Consolidated pay)
