About the Role

Ambicare Solutions is looking for a skilled and experienced Formulation Chemist with a strong background in Chemistry and hands-on experience in developing and manufacturing commercial cleaning and hygiene chemicals.

The ideal candidate must have practical knowledge of chemical formulations, raw materials, surfactants, solvents, chemical properties, product testing and manufacturing processes. The candidate will be responsible for developing current formulations, improving existing products and ensuring consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, formulate and manufacture various cleaning and hygiene chemical products.
- Work on formulations for:
- Floor Cleaners and Multipurpose Cleaners
- Toilet Cleaners and Bathroom Cleaners
- Glass Cleaners
- Degreasers and Industrial Cleaners
- Dishwash Liquids and Detergents
- Handwash and Liquid Soaps
- Phenyl and Disinfectant Products
- Other Institutional and Commercial Cleaning Chemicals
- Identify, select and evaluate suitable chemical raw materials.
- Have practical knowledge of surfactants, acids, alkalis, solvents, fragrances, preservatives and other chemical ingredients.
- Conduct laboratory trials, product development and formulation optimisation.
- Perform quality testing, stability testing and performance evaluation.
- Handle batch preparation, production supervision and manufacturing processes.




- Troubleshoot formulation, stability and production-related issues.
- Maintain formulation sheets, batch manufacturing records, SOPs and quality documentation.
- Ensure consistency, safety and quality of finished products.
- Research new raw materials and technologies to improve existing products and develop new product ranges.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or formulating cleaning chemicals.
- Strong practical knowledge of commercial and institutional cleaning chemical formulations.
- Knowledge of chemical raw materials, their properties, applications and compatibility.
- Experience in laboratory testing, quality control and product development.
- Ability to independently develop and troubleshoot chemical formulations.
- Knowledge of chemical handling, safety procedures and manufacturing practices.

Preferred Candidate We are specifically looking for someone who has previously worked with a cleaning chemical manufacturing company and has practical experience in developing formulations independently.

Candidates with experience only in general laboratory testing or academic chemistry without hands-on cleaning chemical formulation experience will not be preferred.
