The Pre-Primary Co-Teacher will support the lead teacher in creating a protected, nurturing, joyful, and engaging learning environment for young children. The role involves assisting in classroom activities, managing children, supporting their social and emotional development, and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily classroom routines.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the lead teacher in planning and conducting daily classroom activities.
- Support children in developing basic literacy, numeracy, communication, and motor skills.
- Help conduct rhymes, storytelling, art and craft, music, dance, and play-based activities.
- Maintain discipline and ensure effective classroom management.
- Provide individual attention and support to children as per their learning needs.
- Assist children with daily routines, including eating, hygiene, and washroom assistance, when required.
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all children.
- Prepare and maintain teaching-learning materials and classroom resources.
- Observe children's progress and share feedback with the lead teacher.
- Assist in organizing school events, celebrations, activities, and parent interactions.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and an organized learning environment.
- Follow school policies,



procedures, and child protection guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in any stream; ECCE / NTT / Montessori training preferred.
- Experience in pre-primary teaching will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Creative, enthusiastic, and energetic personality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the lead teacher.
- Basic knowledge of early childhood development and activity-based learning.
