We are seeking a Power VCD Simulation Engineer to join our team in India. This role involves developing and validating simulation models for power electronic devices, ensuring high performance and reliability in our products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain VCD (Voltage Controlled Device) simulation models for power electronic systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate simulation results against hardware tests.
- Optimize simulation performance and accuracy through continuous improvement processes.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for simulation-related issues.
- Document simulation methodologies and results for project reporting.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in power electronics and simulation tools.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in VCD simulation tools and software such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, or similar.
- Strong understanding of power electronics concepts and circuit design.
- Experience with model validation and verification techniques.
- Familiarity with control theory and its application in power systems.
- Ability to analyze and interpret simulation data effectively.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
