Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced skilled to manage the overall administrative and commercial operations of a manufacturing plant. The role involves coordinating with the Head Office, handling plant administration, managing statutory compliances, government liaison, vendor relationships and overseeing day-to-day administrative activities.

The ideal candidate should have substantial experience managing administration in a continuous-process manufacturing environment, along with the ability to independently handle multiple responsibilities and coordinate with different departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall administrative functions and daily office operations of the manufacturing plant.

- Act as a coordination point between the plant management team and the Head Office, ensuring smooth communication and timely execution of administrative requirements.

- Handle liaison and coordination with government authorities and regulatory departments, including Factory Inspectorate, Pollution Control Board, Excise, Land and Taxation authorities.

- Ensure timely completion and renewal of statutory registrations, licences, permits and other regulatory compliances.

- Manage plant-related commercial activities, including vendor coordination, contract management, commercial negotiations and procurement-related administration.

- Supervise and coordinate on-site administrative projects, infrastructure-related activities and facility improvement work.

- Work closely with department heads and functional managers to address operational and administrative requirements.

- Monitor and review plant-level purchase records, administrative expenses and related documentation on a regular basis.





- Ensure proper documentation, expense tracking and adherence to internal administrative and financial procedures.

- Oversee facility management, infrastructure maintenance and general administrative support to ensure smooth plant functioning.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- 15–20(912) years of overall experience, preferably in plant administration, factory administration or commercial operations.

- Educational background in Industrial Relations, Operations Management or a relevant technical discipline.

- Strong experience handling administrative and commercial functions within a continuous-process manufacturing facility.

- Prior exposure to industries such as Chemicals, Fertilizers, Polymers, Plastics or Rubber is super mandate.

- Hands-on experience in government liaison, statutory compliance, factory regulations and regulatory approvals.

- Experience in vendor management, commercial negotiations, contract administration and expense monitoring.

- Ability to independently manage multiple administrative responsibilities and coordinate with different stakeholders.

- Good verbal communication skills in Hindi are mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with experience in small to mid-sized manufacturing setups, where they have independently handled diverse plant administration responsibilities, will be preferred.

- Should have a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to manage both routine and critical administrative matters.

- Must be comfortable coordinating with senior management, plant teams, external agencies and government authorities.
