Job Summary

Responsible for managing paper machine operations during the assigned shift, ensuring smooth production, maintaining paper quality, achieving production targets and minimizing machine downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle overall paper machine operations during the assigned shift.
- Monitor machine performance, production output and quality parameters.
- Ensure proper control of GSM, moisture, paper thickness and other quality standards.
- Monitor machine sections including Headbox, Wire/Forming, Press, Dryer and Calendar sections.
- Coordinate with Pulp Mill, Quality Control and Maintenance teams for smooth production.
- Ensure optimum machine speed and minimize breakdowns and production losses.
- Identify operational issues and take corrective actions to avoid downtime.




- Supervise shift manpower and ensure proper allocation of duties.
- Maintain shift-wise production, quality and downtime reports.
- Ensure compliance with production processes, safety standards and housekeeping.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.Tech in Pulp & Paper Technology, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in Paper Machine Operations in the Paper Manufacturing Industry.
- Knowledge of Kraft Paper / Recycled Paper
