We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Manager - Marine Underwriting to join our underwriting team at Delhi Location.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate and underwrite Marine Cargo and Marine Hull risks.
- Assess risk exposure, policy terms, pricing, and coverage requirements.
- Ensure profitable portfolio growth while maintaining underwriting discipline.
- Coordinate with brokers, agents, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze claims trends and loss experience for effective risk selection.
- Support business teams in acquiring and retaining marine insurance accounts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company underwriting standards.
- Prepare underwriting reports, MIS, and portfolio reviews.

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.




- Professional qualifications such as ACII, III, or equivalent will be preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in Marine Underwriting with a General Insurance company.
- Solid knowledge of Marine Cargo, Inland Transit, Export/Import, and Marine Hull products.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in underwriting systems and Microsoft Office.
