Role PurposeThe Manager – Exports runs and grows Parason's export business for complete paper mill machinery: stock preparation, paper machines, and allied systems. The role owns the full export cycle, from techno-commercial negotiation to EXIM documentation, compliance, shipment, and payment realisation.

Note: This role is for export sales of paper mill machinery and equipment. Candidates from paper trading or paper product sales will not be considered.

Key ResponsibilitiesExport Sales and Business Development

- Drive export sales of machinery and spares and grow presence in key overseas markets.
- Lead techno-commercial discussions with mill owners, consultants, and agents.
- Understand customer requirements (paper grade, GSM, capacity, speed) and prepare proposals with design and engineering teams.
- Handle pricing, negotiation, contract finalisation, and order closure.
- Manage agents and distributors, and lead and mentor the export team.

EXIM Documentation and Compliance

- Manage complete export documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, shipping bill, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and LC documents.
- Ensure compliance with Customs, DGFT, FEMA, and RBI export regulations.




- Handle LC negotiation, payment terms (LC, advance, milestone), and export realisation tracking (EDPMS, e-BRC).
- Manage export perks and GST compliance, including RoDTEP, duty drawback, LUT, and IGST refunds.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHAs, banks, and ECGC.

Order Execution and Reporting

- Follow each order from contract to dispatch, shipment, and commissioning with production and project teams.
- Maintain export MIS, order book, and receivables reports for management.

Mandatory Requirements
- 10+ years in export sales of capital equipment or machinery, with a proven record of order closure.
- Strong hands-on knowledge & experience of EXIM documentation and compliance.
- Good understanding of paper mill processes and machinery, from stock preparation to the paper machine.
- Ability to read drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with a polished, professional presence for international clients.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Preferred
- Experience in pulp and paper, process, or allied machinery industries (highly preferred)
- MBA in Marketing or International Business.
- Existing network with overseas mills, consultants, or agents.
